Celebration, unplugged!

Day [50!!!] Thursday: YaY!!!!! So not only has it been 50 days since my first blog [which is CRAZY to think about] but it was also the day i got to meet baby Ryder Jace Brooks! He is the precious little baby of my really good friend Alex, and i was SO excited to meet him! I'm so excited to watch Ryder grow up && am SO happy for Alex and her new little life. It was also the 20th birthday of my other friend Corianne! :] It was most definitely an interesting one! After painting all day at the church, around 3:45 pm ALL POWER FROM MEXICO TO THE OC WENT OUT!!!! It was NUTS! We didn't know how long it was going to last/what the cause was. It really put into perspective how "convenient" life is for us now. Complaining about phones dying [which i had anxiety about! i always found a way to charge mine!], having to cook dinner without a toaster/oven/microwave, no television or anything! It was a nice change, but i have to be honest, i was very happy the power was turned on at 12:43 in the morning! It was a life lesson that's for sure....!

Precious little Ryder Jace Brooks!! Born at 8:20 pm wednesday night, weighing 7lb && 18 in. long! Congrats Alex & James!!!!
